資格外活動の許可（アルバイトで働くとき）
A Permit for Extra-status Activities (e.g. a person intends to engage in a part-time job)

「留学｣及び「家族滞在」の在留資格をもって在留する外国人がアルバイト等の就労活動を行う場合には、あらかじめ出入国在留管理
庁で資格外活勤の許可を受ける必要があります。資格外活動の許可を得ることにより、１週28 時間まで就労することが可能となります。また、留学生については、夏休み等の長期休業期間中、１日８時間までの就労が可能です。これらの就労は、一般的に、風俗営業等に従事しないことを条件に、包括的に許可されます。許可の範囲については資格外活動許可書や在留カードの裏面の記載により確認することができます。

A foreigner who stays in Japan with a residential status such as “College Student” or ”Dependent” is required to obtain permission
to engage in activities outside the scope permitted at the Immigration Services Agency in advance, if the person wants to enter the work force by taking on a part-time job, etc. By obtaining permission to engage in extra-status activities, a person may work up to 28 hours per week. Students may work up to 8 hours per day during extended vacations such as summer vacation. They are generally allowed to engage in any work except for that in the entertainment and amusement trades. The scope of allowed activities can be confirmed on the application for extra-status activities and the resident card’s reverse side.
